How this estimate is calculated

The estimate is adapted to conditions in the Republic of Moldova. It assumes an annual yield of 1,200 kWh for each 1 kW installed: average monthly consumption × 12 ÷ 1,200, followed by a 25% reserve for mainly daytime use, 30% for balanced use or 50% for mainly evening use. These reserves account for seasonal variation, including lower winter production, orientation and system losses, as well as the net-billing context. The displayed annual energy value applies the selected tariff only up to estimated annual consumption; exported surplus is settled under the applicable net-billing rules and supplier prices, not as a one-for-one kWh offset. Storage is based on average daily consumption: hybrid 15% / 45% / 70%, with a minimum recommended battery of 5 kWh; off-grid 40–50% / 70% / 100%, with a minimum recommended range of 5–10 kWh. Panels are rated at 600 W and measure approximately 2300 × 1150 mm.
